In appreciation for all who serve in a volunteer role within our church family, the Bay Pointe Staff and Elders would like to invite you to a Volunteer Appreciation Celebration in Studio One the morning of Sunday, June 9. Please “Save the Date” and plan to join us for cake and refreshments in Studio One from 8:30 am to 1:00 pm. Fun surprises during both services – you won’t want to miss it!

Pre-Marriage Education Seminar: Prepare to Last
Saturday, June 1, 2013

Are you engaged or considering engagement toward marriage? If so, we would love to have you join us from 8:30 am – 3:00 pm on Saturday, June 1, for our Pre-Marriage Education Seminar, Prepare to Last. This seminar offers low-cost, high-impact time together as a couple:

• to help celebrate the strengths of your relationship
• identify a game plan to go after areas that need growth
• understand as a couple what God had in mind when he created marriage

Cost for the seminar is $65, which covers food and materials. Additionally, each couple needs to complete the online Prepare-Enrich inventory prior to the seminar; to which we will give you access at a cost of $35. Scholarships are available as needed. Great Date Experience
Building a Bridge to Closeness: Personality and Communication
Friday, May 31 / 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm

Join us for the second Great Date Experience at Bay Pointe on Friday, May 31 from 6:30pm – 8:30pm. We’ll be going after those challenging differences in personality, regardless of gender, that can sabotage relationship communication and team building. We’ll use a fun assessment that will help you see how you uniquely act to stress and change, your style of communication and how important fun is to you. Every couple will leave with helpful ideas on how to lighten the stress of differences in personality in your relationship and improve the way you communicate with each other.

The Northern Michigan Captivating Retreat will be held April 25 – 28 at Timber Wolf Camp in Lake City. This retreat is based on the popular book by John & Stasi Eldredge, Captivating, Unveiling the Mystery of a Woman’s Soul.
