At Bay Pointe we believe that membership matters and that people are hard-wired by God for community – to belong to something bigger than themselves for a vision or purpose bigger than themselves.

While it is true that your salvation (being reconciled to God) does not hinge on church membership, it is also true that when you come into a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ you become a part of his family, the church. Membership in a local church is a concrete way of saying, “I’m in. This is my spiritual family – the community of people I will depend on and who can depend on me. This is where I covenant to love, grow and reach out to others through serving and give my resources to accomplish God’s purposes in our lives.”   

Membership courses are offered three times each year in a life group format called "Everybody." You will watch a series of DVDs and complete a study guide followed by a group gathering with staff and other potential members. The entire process is designed to help you grow deeper in your relationship with God, and to decide if Bay Pointe is the right spiritual fit for you.
