Your information is held securely by the Fellowship One system. This information will remain private and will never be given away to third parties, other than to process your scheduled contributions.
You can schedule new contributions at any time and can modify or cancel those contributions at any time prior to the date they are scheduled. HOW IT WORKS: You can give by having your bank automatically debit your checking account and transfer your gift to BPCC providing you the opportunity to make a one-time contribution or to securely establish a recurring gift on whatever time interval you choose.
In addition, you can allocate your tithe to go to the General Fund (supports the vast majority of the Bay Pointe Ministries as well as the Operational expenses) and you can give above and beyond your tithe to the Compassion Fund (supports benevolence needs and our local and international partnerships) or Building Fund (helps pay for the building and campus).
YEAR END OFFERING
Dear Friends,
The book of Nehemiah is full of absolutely brilliant lessons on leadership, perseverance and faith. In short, Nehemiah returned to Jerusalem from exile (think “prison”) in Babylon and saw his beloved city in complete disarray. His first order of business: rebuild the walls. Repairing the walls was foundational to restoring Jerusalem. At Bay Pointe, the General Fund is the financial foundation (i.e., the walls) for everything that happens in the life of our church. Given the financial challenges of this year, the leadership believes it is the best use of God’s resources to allocate 100% of the 2011 Year End Offering to the General Fund, to ensure that the foundation is solid as we move into an exciting 2012 filled with great ministry potential.
The General Fund by name can be misleading, because the truth is it supports all the ministries that happen through this church in a very specific way. Things like….
• Our weekend services • Ministry to hundreds of children and teens • Discipleship Classes • Small Groups • Weddings and Funerals • Special Events like hosting the Josh McDowell film and other outreach concerts • Facilities to host the Safe Harbor Homeless Shelter Ministry
Making sure that the General Fund is well funded is the “wall” around (or the foundation under) that supports everything we do!
At each of the Christmas Eve services we’ll be receiving final gifts for 2011, so in the words of the Apostle Paul “purpose in your heart what to give” (II Corinthians 9:7). In other words, think it through, talk about it and pray about it. Then give joyfully and sacrificially as God leads you. If you won’t be here at our Christmas Eve services, you can simply mail a check to Bay Pointe with the check posted on or before December 31, 2011.
