Online Giving FAQs

Q. Why should I switch to Online Giving?

Q. How safe is Online Giving?

Electronic fund transfers are regulated by the Federal Reserve and are less risky than checks because they cannot be lost or stolen.

Q. When will the contribution be deducted from my account?

It’s really up to you based on how you set up your online giving. You choose the dates, amounts and frequency.

Q. If I don’t write a check, then how will I know what I’ve contributed?

Your bank statement will provide you with a list of all automatic giving transactions. In addition, BPCC will send you an annual contribution report just like we have in the past for use in your annual tax preparation.

Q. Can I make changes or cancel my online giving?

Yes, anytime! Simply go to the Giving page of our website and log on to your account and make whatever changes you would like to make. You can edit all scheduled gifts (one-time or recurring) by going to the “Contribution Schedule” section.

Q. Do you accept credit cards for online giving?

No, we have chosen not to accept credit cards at this time because we don’t want to encourage debt. We understand that many people use credit cards responsibly but the vast majority of people who use credit cards don’t pay off their balance at the end of each month (the only way credit cards should be used).

Q. How do I make a contribution to the General Fund?

You simply choose the General Fund option and then choose the General Fund sub fund option.

Q. How do I make a contribution to the Benevolence Fund?

You simply choose the General Fund option and then choose the sub-fund titled Benevolence Fund.

Q. How do I make a contribution to the Building Fund?

You simply choose the Building Fund option and then choose the sub-fund titled Building Fund Pledges.

Q. What if I have additional questions regarding online giving?
