Memorize It.

Memorize It.

Memorizing Bible verses will help you tremendously. After all – how can you apply scripture to your everyday life if you can’t remember any of it? Of course, just the thought of memorizing anything can be a bit scary or overwhelming. The key is to take one step at a time.

For example, choose a verse that is important to you. Write it in on a 3×5 card and carry it with you. Quiz yourself throughout the day. You can also write the verse on a sticky-note and attach it to your bathroom mirror (or refrigerator, etc.). This is a great visual reminder.

If you memorize one verse a month, you’ll have a dozen verses memorized this time next year. If you do this once a week, you’ll have 52 verses memorized this time next year! And all by taking that first step – one at a time.
