Sunday, March 11 after second service in the TreeHouse. All Children’s Ministry Volunteers Invited!
Please join the Children’s Ministry Team leaders for this fun filled time to visit, share stories, and get to know one another. Bring a snack to share or a dish to pass.Following the potluck, volunteers will split up into their serving teams to have questions answered, brainstorm new ideas, and have a short training session with their team leader. Children are welcome!

Our First Look ministry is a safe and secure environment designed with your little one in mind. Children birth through pre-school are assigned to a room based on their developmental progress using age as a guideline. During both the 9:30 and 11:15 am services, your child will experience an age appropriate lesson, have playtime, a snack, and a time of worship. If for any reason your child is inconsolable you will be paged in the auditorium. As part of the security in these rooms, parents must provide the appropriate security tag to retrieve their child at the end of service. Security tags are randomly issued during check-in.
Kindergarten through second grade meets in the TreeHouse Sunday mornings at 9:30 and 11:15 am. There are fun activities for children to do as everyone arrives. Once service begins children are grouped by their grades and have time to catch up over the week or get to know new faces. Large group is taught to the group as a whole from the TreeHouse main stage through story telling, games, videos, and interactive teaching. Children then return to the small group format and have an application lesson from their small group leader. As part of the security in this room, parents must provide the appropriate security tag to retrieve their child at the end of service. Security tags are randomly issued during check-in.
Our third through fifth graders attend THRIVE in The Safe Sunday mornings at 9:30 and 11:15 am. Children have a social time to catch up and get to know new faces then transition into large group teaching from The Safe stage. Teaching consists of games, story telling, videos, dramas, and much interaction. Once large group teaching is completed, the children break out into groups with small group leaders to learn how to apply the lesson to their lives. As part of the security in this room, parents must provide the appropriate security tag to retrieve their child at the end of service. Security tags are randomly issued during check-in.
Bay Pointe welcomes all children to learn about the love of Jesus, even special needs children. Special Treasures is available to help in two ways. You may request your child have a Side-Kick, or one-on-one helper, within the classroom they are assigned or register your child to attend a class specially designed for their unique learning style. Bay Pointe has a team of specially gifted volunteers ready to help your family!

The Next Generation Kids Worship Team is a group up of boys and girls in first through 8th grade. This group of children lead Worship in the TreeHouse and First Look rooms during Sunday services. Open enrollment happens three times per year with four month commitments asked of the families. Practice takes place in the TreeHouse every other Wednesday night from 5:30-6:30 pm. This is a great opportunity to help your child go deeper in their faith. The Worship Team memorizes scripture, works on service projects and often performs at Bay Pointe gatherings.
