We believe…
We believe and embrace the historic creeds of the Christian church (i.e. the Apostles’ Creed and the Nicene Creed), which summarize the core doctrines of historic Christian faith, including the authority of scripture as the sole basis of our belief. Scripture is uniquely inspired by God, without error, and the final authority on all matters of faith and life.
We believe the Bible teaches there is one God, eternally existing in three unique beings – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit – each possessing all the attributes of Deity.
We believe in God the Father, creator of everything in the world, including you and me.
We believe in Jesus, God’s Son, whom He sent into the world to restore humanity’s relationship with the Father. Jesus lived a perfect life on earth, died a sacrificial death for us, and rose from the dead so that our sins could be forgiven and transformed by His grace.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, sent by God into the world as our helper and teacher. The Holy Spirit guides and empowers us to live a life transformed by God’s love.
We believe that salvation is a gift offered to us by God only through Jesus Christ. We don’t deserve it nor can we earn it. God gives salvation freely to all who ask and believe and it must be received personally by repentance and faith. Those forgiven through Christ will enjoy eternal fellowship with God.
We believe the church to be God’s “body” and the main “voice” through which he speaks in our temporal world.
We believe the church is a collection of imperfect, forgiven people, young and old, male and female, from all walks of life. Deeply loved by God, we are called to reflect His love by serving others, sharing the message of salvation, and following Him in every aspect of our lives. By doing so, we serve Him in return.
